Zion Adventure Company's worldwide, inter-planetary headquarters lies in Springdale, Utah, beneath the incredible silhouette of Zion's West Temple formation. After ten years operating out of a beloved 600 square-foot shack, we designed and raised our current building (shown here) in 2007.
As you enter our front doors, a wide array of colors, information, personalities, and options greet you. Whether you walk in the doors with specific purpose or simple curiosity, both our staff and our building are prepared to engage your imagination.
In our outfitting area, we connect clients with equipment and information for Zion's many pursuits. By far, most of our outfitting is for those headed for the Zion Narrows, a half-day, full-day, or overnight wet canyon hike. In addition to Narrows outfitting, we prepare technical canyoneers, rock climbers, day hikers, backpackers, and car campers for a safer, more comfortable journey.
After customers have enjoyed their equipment, they return it to our bustling outdoor gear cleaning area. With capacity to clean and store hundreds of canyoneering shoes, socks, wetsuits, drysuits, drybags, and other technical equipment, this is the where all our gear goes for rehab between uses.
ZAC employees and lucky clients enjoy a spacious kitchen, office, and meeting area upstairs in the loft. Above the hustle and bustle of the main floor, staff prepare meals, work on adminstrative projects, coorespond with clients, or simply lounge in the cool, open "upper deck."
The ZAC dungeon may seem like madness to some, but for us it represents the most spacious, clean, and organized storage area we've ever had. We love it! Guides store gear in their basement "lockers" and occasionally teach classes here on the rainiest of days.
